This video focussed on the role of language in shaping our identities as well as the gaps in our perception of the world when the language we speak doesn’t have words to describe certain phenomena or feelings.
The second video of the series, this one was more challenging than before because I decided to execute it in Vietnamese.
The language proved to be a lot harder than I had envisioned, so I had to shoot it in multiple takes and stitch it together in the edit.
The prep was also quite difficult, as you can tell from the behind-the-scenes footage.
